Cristobalite powder (Cristobalite)

    Cristobalite is a kind of crystallized allotrope of silicon dioxide, colorless, cubic system or square system, theoretical density of 2.32, hardness of 6-7, fusing point at (1713±5)°C, boiling point at 2230°C. It doesn’t dissolve in water and acid, dissolves in fluohydric acid, and slightly dissolves in strong acid.

I. Characteristics and application:

    The cristobalite of our company is made of natural quality quartz by high tech under special processing, with the silica powder made by super-fine grinding and grading after removing the impurities. Such product has the light mass, low density, high whiteness degree, fine suspension and fluidity, as well as the excellent optical performance. It can be broadly applied in paintings and coatings, cosmetics, ceramic pigments and glazes, electrical materials and high-performance resins and silicon rubbers.
